Abstract

Modern approaches to professional development research in the world education environment have been analvzed. Peculiarities of methodology of modern comparative investigations in professional development problem have been characterized. The most competent modern editions dedicated to the issue of teachers ' professional development in the world education environment, have been analyzed. Directions in which accumulation of database in continuous teachers' professional development must be carried out have been determined. Recommendations concerning extension of database in continuous teachers 'professional development have been formulated.
