Abstract
In the context of elucidating the implementation of the individualization in the school educational process revealed unexplored aspect – the contribution to this process in the 1980s of Ukrainian psychologists. Determined the main direction, methods and results of research in the field of educational psychology, personality psychology, social psychology, relating to the individualization of learning through the study of the creative potential of pupils, their interests and abilities, through the study of motives of educational activity, interpersonal relationships, identification and development of talent and creative thinking. Analysis of Ukrainian scientists’ psychological publications showed the expansion of the spectrum of their researches in the direction of ensuring the implementation of individualized needs and motives for learning of pupils, and proves the gradual formation of the base to establish a paradigm of personal oriented education at this time.
