Abstract

The article analyses the essential features (combination of formal and informal methods of studies and combining of different methods of exposition of educational material) the basic components (traditional audience employments, independent educational activity, electronic studies) of the blended learning. Advantages of method are reasonable for use in the system of teaching of various categories of the adult population. Classification of models of the blended learning is presented and their analysis is carried out. Potential and prospects of development of method are exposed, problems that prevent to his distribution in a modern educational environment are distinguished.
