Abstract

Issues of the textbook (developed in the context of the main directions of research on pedagogical and psychological sciences in Ukraine for 2013-2017 years) concern the formation of professional qualities of skilled workers as one of the major interdisciplinary problems (psychological, pedagogical, noological, social and humanitarian). Personal characteristics that are methodologically thematized in the context of professional self-concept development of a specialist are considered to be the defining indicators of his/her professional readiness Professional self-concept f a personality is formed in the depth of individual soul-spiritual (noological and psychological) self-concept as a triad activity of impressive ego, reflective ego and expressive ego of a personality. Professional self-concept of a personality is superfophisticated noological formation of human self-consciousness, it is the fundamental factor of coherent organization of a human being as the image and likeness of God. It is the self-concept that maintains the dignity, honor, self-esteem and self-respect of a human. It characterizes the degree of moral and spiritual readiness of an individual to the professional activity, humane conduct and professional communication. The textbook proves that the development of professional self-concept refers to the general problem of the becoming of a professional as an internal source of its professional development and personal noological moral and spiritual growth. The manual is intended for teachers of vocational schools and can also be useful to teachers of social and humanitarian subjects in secondary schools.
