Abstract

The author considers the image of the «I» as a dynamic system of representations of an adult about themselves, their social setting. Analyzes the role of self-esteem in the context of personal self-determination of adults. Focuses on professional self-assessment as an important element in the structure of the professional «I-concept». Reveals the essence of self-actualization as a source of self-identity, its commitment to the full expression of their own capabilities.
