Abstract

The article characterizes the main methodological approaches to the substantiation of the specialist’s personality professional development. The priority is given to the subject-activity approach, which simultaneously considers demands of many other approaches (personality-oriented, activity-oriented, systematic, subject) and methodological principles (unity of consciousness and behavior, personality and activity etc). At the same time, personality as (as social being) and specialist (as professional being) are in the creational unity, have direct impact on each other and directly interact with each other as well as are interrelated with each other. The article also briefly presents specialist’s personality professional development and characterizes its main factors – biological, social, educational, and activity related. It sets out the main stages of the specialist’s personality professional development and briefly characterizes its contents. It stresses that such development is subject professional in nature, which presents the process of the personality development as that of a social being in the professional environment as a professional being. Such development is oriented at the actualization of spiritual, cognitive and professional strength of certain specialist in the professional activity as well as at achievement of essential results in this activity.
