Abstract
The article substantiates customs scientifc and academic journals as capacity building instruments. The authors set forth concepts of two scientifc journals in the customs domain: Global Trade and Customs Journal and World Customs Journal which have target audiences globally, and the regional instrument Customs Scientifc Journal CUSTOMS. The authors demonstrate functions of customs scientifc and academic journals.
