Abstract
Dissertation to qualify for the scientific degree of the Doctor of Pedagogics in Speciality 13.00.04. ― Theory and Methods of Professional Education. ― Luhansk National Pedagogical University named after Taras Shevchenko, Luhansk, 2010. The dissertation deals with the problem of forming communicative competency of cus-toms officers under the system of lifelong professional education. There are expanded scien-tific and methodological provision of competencies and competences problem as multidi-mensional categories, and theoretical and methodological principles of professional educa-tion, which are the basis for grounding communicative competency as an essential part of professional competency, hierarchy double vectored structure that includes competency of an employee and competency of a position. The theoretical performance of the essence, sense and structure of communicative competency is particularized and deepened. The au-thor’s definition of investigated category is given at three levels: philosophic, objective, practical communicative activity. The model and scientific and methodical provision of the process of forming the communicative competency of customs officers are theoretically developed, proved and checked experimentally. The model components are the purpose of training and value, sense, technological, diagnostic, managerial elements.
