Abstract
Training course on parenting skills acquisition "in the joy of Parenthood" is aimed at supporting parents raising children from birth to 6 years. The basis of the course put the same name program (Make Parenting a Pleasure), which was developed by the organization "From Zero to Three", the US, and since 1983 is being implemented in 36 states of America, which has demonstrated its effectiveness in preventing ill-treatment and insufficient childcare . In the course of development into account Ukrainian context based on a synthesis of practical experience training for parents in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and Cherkasy regions within the framework of USAID «Families for Children" which is performed in Ukraine organization Holt International. The proposed course will be useful to specialists in the social and educational areas that assist parents in the upbringing of children.
