Abstract

Reforming vocational education caused major changes in the system of assessment of student achievements. The new assessment criteria are aimed at implementing the principles of humanization and democratization of education and aimed at a substantial reorientation of the learning process, which would ensure the personal development of each future skilled worker. Assessment should be based on the positive principle that primarily involves consideration of student achievement, not its degree of failure.
