Abstract

The manual is devoted to the problem of peculiarities of structure and content of character in adolescence and is intended for practical psychologists and educators to work with student youth. In the first section, a theoretical analysis of the category "character" in foreign and domestic psychological and pedagogical science is made. An important conclusion is that character is a psychological prerequisite and the result of spiritual and personal development in adolescence. The second section is devoted to the consideration of characteristic disharmonies of personality. The third section presents the model of the structure of personality character, as well as a number of experimental psychodiagnostic techniques for the study of features and degree of harmony of character, which can be used in educational settings. The fourth section is devoted to the presentation of the special course "Harmonization of personality in adolescence". Innovative educational-psychological special course is aimed at harmonizing the character of modern high school students and students by forming moral attitudes, positive thinking, finding the skills of moral behavior. Methodology of the special course of harmonization character has the basis of knowledge about man in the light of Christian anthropology. Special course combines such forms of psychological work as lectures, discussions, psycho-training, role-playing games.
