Abstract

Volodymyr Andriyovych Romenets (1926–1998) – an outstanding researcher of domestic psychological science and education of the second half of the 20th century, developer of the theory of scientific creativity, methodology of the action approach and history of world psychology, a prominent representative of the Kyiv school of philosophical psychology, which has been developing within the walls of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for more than a century. The current edition includes selected original works of the scientist, Ukrainian-language translations of abstracts of his candidate theses and analytical materials, which, from the perspective of modern science, present the life path and scientific achievements of Academician Romenets - a graduate and professor of Kyiv University, an original thinker, whose work serves as a kind of bridge that bridges the gap between pre-Soviet and modern Ukrainian psychology, demonstrates the presence in Soviet times of a socio-cultural vector of development of Ukrainian science about the human soul, the logical continuity of the progress of Ukrainian psychology as a European humanitarian science with a human face full of dignity. For scientists, teachers, students, master's and doctoral students specializing in research and teaching of psychological, philosophical and pedagogical sciences.
