Abstract

In the methodological guidelines, pharmaceutical care for patients with chronic coronary syndrome is considered a multidisciplinary process involving collaboration between clinicians and pharmacists. International requirements for the provision of such care are presented; the pathophysiological mechanisms of the syndrome, principles of pharmaceutical support, and methods for improving treatment adherence are defined. Evidence-based approaches are described, along with a methodology for assessing drug compatibility that takes into account pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties, as well as recommended resources for verifying compatibility. An algorithm for interaction with patients in pharmacies and its connection with effective communication is outlined. Applied aspects ensure the integrity and coherence of the recommendations. The guidelines are intended for learners in medical and pharmaceutical education at all levels, participants in postgraduate education, pharmaceutical professionals, medical representatives, academic and teaching staff, and managers of healthcare institutions and pharmacy chains.
