Abstract

An important point in the organization of environmental education of students in the study of mathematics is to determine its content. Since environmental education is a complex process that includes the development of environmental knowledge, the formation of environmental skills, as well as the motivational sphere of environmental activities of students, its content in the study of mathematics should reflect the possibility of using the content in the formation of all three components of conscious human behavior. The content of environmental education should reflect both the specifics of the subject area of ​​mathematics as a science, and the features of skills and abilities that are formed in students in the process of its study at school. As has been shown, the basis of arbitrary belief is the idea, which is the result of generalization of the facts of the surrounding reality. Depending on the number of generalized facts and their content, ideas can be of varying degrees of generalization. Thus, the assimilation of the idea of ​​the need for a careful attitude to nature involves the generalization of several ideas of a more partial order, each of which is based on a certain set of facts. Such ideas are the idea that: life depends on the conditions of inanimate nature; the main living environments are characterized by certain parameters; the result of human activity is a change in the basic indicators of living conditions; nature has limited properties of self-purification; natural resources on Earth are limited. It is obvious that these ideas underlie the scientific substantiation of the idea of ​​caring for nature. To preserve nature, you need not only to know that it needs protection, but also to realize the possibility of enrichment and improvement of the environment in the process of its development. Disclosure of this idea involves references to partial ideas, which include the following: 1).The reasons for the deterioration of the environment lie in the imperfection of technology. 2).Using waste-free production technologies, it is necessary and possible to prevent further environmental pollution. 3). The use of inexhaustible energy sources allows you to save organic natural resources and not pollute the environment. 4).Science must play a crucial role in regulating the use of natural resources by man. 5).The interaction of human society and nature depends on solving environmental problems on a global scale.
