Abstract

The manual visualizes the features of teaching certain categories of adults in non-formal education. Contains a preface, four chapters, a glossary, appendices. The first section of the manual reflects the features of non-formal education as a factor in the development of the competence potential of civil servants and local government officials. The second section is devoted to the analysis of the problem of professional development of higher school teachers in the conditions of continuous pedagogical education. The third section outlines the practical aspects of the development of civic competence of future teachers in non-formal education. The fourth section of the manual is devoted to the description of the experience of non-formal learning of adults in libraries. Each section contains questions for self-education, test tasks, a list of recommended reading. The manual is addressed to pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical employees of higher and postgraduate education institutions, future teachers, civil servants, library employees, scientists, and other categories of adults.
