Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of acquiring values by a child of the senior preschool age. The psychological content of the concepts of "value", the conditions and ways of mastering of the values of society by the child are revealed. The results of experimental study of the functioning of terminal and instrumental values as regulators of activity of children of the senior preschool age in preschool establishments are presented.
