There are general approaches to the organization of assistance and some of its stages: conducting an initial assessment, in-depth assessment of the needs of the family and the child, creating a work plan, implementing the assistance program, periodically evaluating the effectiveness of the program and, according to its results, reviewing the goals of the intervention, and, as a final stage , completing the program, or preparing the child for transition to other assistance programs or educational institutions.
