Abstract

The research considers some of the leading trends in the development of school education, namely, increasing the prestige of the pedagogical profession, enhancing motivation for professional development. It was revealed that increasing the prestige of the pedagogical profession, promoting quality work and ensuring the proper conditions for its implementation are priorities in the activities of the Ministry of National Education of Poland. In particular, for the implementation of these plans, effective mechanisms for encouraging the work of young teachers who are interested in improving pedagogical skills are being developed.
