Abstract

The issue of benchmarks for the development of teacher training in the EU through the prism of the prospect of Ukraine's integration into European space is considered. It is concluded that the EU's key point in the development of teacher education is its high quality. To this end, there is a modernization of the sector in the direction of introducing innovations both within (structural, content and organizational ones) and beyond (measures aimed at improving the image of the teaching profession, harmonization between the requirements of society and the level of teacher training, raising the level of financing, building up the state-private partnership) system.
