Abstract

The article highlights the views of Chinese scholars on the quality education. The monitoring studies of Chinese comparativists in the field of achievement assessment in the United States and European Union are analyzed. Through the prism of these studies examined the American and European experience in competency measurement academic performance of secondary school students in order to determine positive organizational and content elements that can be applied during the formation of Chinese national education system.
