Abstract

The main peculiarities of the modern tendencies of the development and the improvement of the foreign languages teaching process in the secondary school of the states that are the members of the EU were studied; the principal factors that had an impact on the increase of the level of popularity of the "Foreign Language" subject at school were defined.
