Abstract

The article deals with the functions and structure of the university as a corporate complex mechanism that serves the educational interests. This study is necessary for a more harmonious and balanced process of passing through the reformation and modernization of education in Ukraine in accordance with European trends. The technical model of the university was built and the comparison of the corporation and university structures was realized. The conclusions about the existing problems of effectiveness of learning and ways to avoid them were given. The article gives a critical and modern look at education system as competitive participant of market economy.
