Abstract

The book is devoted to the problem of personality,which is considered from positions of integrativeexistential approach. Leading characteristics of personality and sphere of its functioning are marked. The category of personality is in the context of categories «culture» and «existence» considered. The basic traits of personality formation are considered. The internal structure of mature personality is analysed. Variants of formation of personality and its possible deformations are characterised. Principles of psychological supportof personality formation and its creative self-realisation are analysed. Three traditions of understanding of personality (cognitive, hermeneutic and existential), possibilities and restrictions of empirical research of personality are considered.
