Abstract

The importance of EU equity in education policy under 21st globalization challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic is revealed. Iy is stated that the European Pillar of Social Rights (2017) proclaims equity in education as a key principle, emphasizing that everyone has the right to quality and inclusive education and lifelong learning and that everyone has the right to equal treatment and opportunities regarding employment, social protection, education, and access to goods and services available to the public. The EU policy in the area of equity in education at the levels of ECEC, primary, secondary, VET and higher education is described. It is concluded about the development of LLL system on the basis of equity within EU especially under COVID-19 pandemic.
