Abstract

The article actualizes the relevance of the study of the world picture of senior preschoolers and junior schoolchildren. Criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of the world picture are highlighted. Among the criteria: the quality of perceptions of the world (cognitive component); features of emotional and value attitude to the world (emotional and value component); the nature of interaction with the world (activity component). Indicators of the quality of ideas about the world are their balance, realism, awareness, system. Indicators of emotional and value attitude to the world are emotional reactions, the content of evaluative judgments, motives for attitude to the world. Indicators of the nature of interaction with the world are the direction of actions, the nature of behavior, manifestations of creativity. The necessity of selection of types of a picture of the world on each of components separately is proved. By cognitive component: cognitively complex, relatively cognitively complex, cognitively simplified, cognitively simple; by emotional-value component: humanistic balanced-moral, humanistic contradictory-moral, indifferent (intermediate), egocentric; by activity component: harmonious, relatively harmonious, transitional, conflict. The selection of methods for studying the picture of the world of senior preschoolers and junior schoolchildren by cognitive, emotional-value and activity components is substantiated.
