Abstract

The article analyzes the concept: "capital" (general concept) - "social capital" (special) - "social capital in the school environment" (single). Educational development centers (hubs) are analyzed in terms of the concept of "third place", as well as urban planning and architecture. The article draws attention to the relevance of social capital issues in the school environment or to mutual trust and interaction as effective factors influencing student performance in terms of evidence-based research. Significant problems and challenges that hinder the formation of social capital in the domestic school environment have been identified. The contribution of each of the subjects of partnership to the social capital of the school environment is classified.
