Abstract
The monograph defines the results of theoretical and empirical analysis of issues related to the role of value orientations in the life of a child of older preschool age in a changing social situation of development (preschool education - primary education). It highlights the socio-pedagogical and psychological factors that determine the child's choice and acceptance of socially significant values that act as regulators of its activity in communication and purely children's activities: subject-practical, playful, cognitive, visual. The monograph is addressed to teachers of higher education and extention institute for teachers, practical psychologists, scientists of psychology, students, heads of institutions and organizations, graduate students, teachers of preschool and primary school.
