Abstract

The development of methods of teaching geography affects the formation of creative activity of individual abilities of students and the development of cognitive interests in geography. Among the scientific and educational centers of Ukraine, which provide scientific and methodological support of the educational process of the New Ukrainian School, the author's team of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine stands out. These are methodical works of IP Starovoitenko, MP Otkalenko, AY Syrotenko, VP Korneev, and others. In October 2019, the Department of Geography and Economics celebrated its 85th anniversary. Designed for teachers and methodologists of geography, students of specialized free economic zones
