Abstract

It is shown that the complexity of the ideas about nation’s mentality is interdependent with the assumed scale of its project and its possible role in the design of a project of globalization. It becomes true, through the task of the complexity of the theoretical constructions (identity, nation, national identity) to have influence on the assumed role of the nation. The reduction of the complexity of thinking might lead to a loss of some potential for the development of the society when building of an ethnic nation would rather come to a head than building of a multinational state.
