Abstract

In order to implement the methodology of using the Google Analytics system for the development of information and research competence of researchers and research and teaching staff, a special course "Using Google Analytics services in the field of pedagogical sciences" was developed, which consists of 2 modules: Basics of web analytics. Features and Overview of Google Analytics for Traffic Analysis "and" In-Depth Analysis of Web Resources with Google Analytics ". Using the free Google Analytics service is very important for organizing the maximum capacity of the web resource of a scientific institution. Google Analytics digital analytics system helps to qualitatively monitor and analyze the web resource, understand site performance indicators, make their settings and improvements, evaluate quantitative and qualitative traffic characteristics, optimize the work of the web resource, identify problem areas and find potential to increase site conversion. improving the efficiency of web resource use, etc.
