Abstract

The article describes the substantive aspect of the methodological preparation of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature for the implementation of the competence approach. The necessity of updating the content of the discipline «Methods of teaching Ukrainian language» which provides the basis for methodological preparation of students is substantiated. It has been found out that it is advisable to introduce the basic concepts of competency approach in the higher education methods: «competence», «substantive competence», «key competences », etc. The necessity of developing psycho-didactic bases of formation of key and substantive competences of subjects of educational process with regard to psychologization of modern educational process is noted. Briefly described principles such as: motivational support of the educational process; value orientation; activation of cognitive activity of students; directing education to comprehensive and harmonious development; personality activity; individualization; organic unity of the person, speech and learning process. The psycho-didactic principles that characterize the essence of personally oriented learning, competence and activity approaches are characterized. Emphasis is placed on the need to familiarize future vocabulary teachers with information about the peculiarities of the interrelationship of purposefulness, purposefulness and goal realization, the essential characteristics of purposefulness of the lesson of the Ukrainian language. It is proved expedient to acquaint future teachers with methods aimed at developing students' thinking skills, formation of key and subject competences. The content and activity goal of a competently oriented lesson of Ukrainian are distinguished.
