Abstract

The thesis describes the structure of professional competence of the teacher of geography and economics. Teacher's professional skill is the key to improving the quality of geographical and economic education. The work of a teacher today is not limited to dry teaching of one's own subject, but built on interdisciplinary connections, the ability to organize the educational process as a pedagogical interaction aimed at the development of the student's personality on the basis of personally oriented pedagogy and principles of cooperation.
