Abstract

The current program of the Ukrainian language (standard level) defines the purpose of teaching the subject as "preparation of a competent speaker". The predominant task for a long time, which was to perceive language as a dynamic system, which all levels need to be mastered by students, is false. Today the school must ensure the formation of an initiative, active, creative personality who will be able to be involved in many socially important decisions, ready to take responsibility for the results of decisions.
