Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of formation of motivation for educational activity of the recipients of education in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School. The problem of motivation of learning of different authors is considered. The definitions of the terms «motive» and «motivation to learn» are given. The role of motivation of primary school pupils learning is revealed.
