Abstract
The paper analyzes the current policy of the Republic of Poland in the field of education and science. It is revealed that the modern process of reforming the education of Poland involves the development and changes in the following key areas: reforming the structure of school education, teacher in the education system, quality of education; student in the education system; strengthening the role of parents in the school education system; reforming higher education; building a scientific school; prognostic challenges. It is concluded that the education system of Poland is being actively modernized in accordance with the requirements of the Polish society and the European Community. At the present stage, it is characterized by innovativeness, integrity, scientific validity and predictability.
