Abstract

The article covers the history and stages of the creation of an information retrieval system in the State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine named after I.V. From the time of its foundation to the present time, VO Sukhomlinsky analyzed the components of the information retrieval system and the importance of each of them for the organization of relevant information retrieval.
