Abstract

In the theses of the report, carried out by V. V. Savinov on May 25, 2012, at the 5-th All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Socio-psychological peculiarities of professional activity of social workers: the Observatory of Soul " (Melitopol, May 25–27, 2012), describes the development of personality through awareness of the fatigue of the subjective world order during self-expression. The sequence of actions of the Playback Theatre practice is formulated, the socio-psychological atmosphere created on the Playbacks is analyzed, its main features are highlighted: openness, community-friendliness (fellow feeling), creativity. Some feelings of a spectator who dare to become a storyteller in the Playback Theatre are described, and general psychological mechanisms that promote his personality growth are proposed and substantiated: adreaction, narration and reinterpretation. The global mechanism of personality’s transformation in the Playback Theater is proposed and described: the change of the internal position of the viewer, the observer, the position of the author, the creator of his own narrative, and, consequently, his/her own life.
