Abstract

The nature of transformations in the United States educational policy in the field of education is analyzed. The change in the nature of educational policy in the United States in recent decades proven. The trends characterizing American policy in the field of education in the United States including strengthening of the role of the federal government in its formation and the intensification of networking and the creation of coalitions presented. The conclusion is made that the educational policy of the United States is open to changes under the influence of external factors of the world and national levels; a comprehensive nature involving the interaction of the federal level and state level; harmonization with the educational benchmarks of the international community.
