Abstract

The article substantiates the main problems of studying speech genres in Ukrainian language lessons. The stages of the use of communicative situations in the study of speech genres are described. The existing classification of speech genres is analyzed. On the basis of the analysis of scientific literature, the author comes to the conclusion about the relevance of the introduction and study of speech genres in Ukrainian lessons.
