Abstract

The article describes the relationship of the phenomenon of suicide with the environment of the individual in which he exists, the moral assessment of suicide, depending on the historical period of society. Suicidal behavior, causes and preconditions of suicide from the point of view of different sociological and psychological theories are considered. The results of a specific sociopsychological study of juveniles aimed at identifying the causes of suicide are presented.
