Abstract
The author characterizes the main features of globalization in education, which include its marketization, internationalization, unification of the content of education, decentralization. The role of international organizations in the development of strategic guidelines of education under globalization is emphasized. A conclusion is made about the exit of education out of national borders in the conditions of the common educational space functioning.
