Abstract

The content of the article is aimed at solving the problem of competence approach through the differentiation and individualization of students in the study of geography at the profile level of school education. Ukraine's accession to the European educational space requires the search for new approaches to the organization of the educational process in the Lyceum in order to create the most favorable conditions for the formation and development of the personality of students, the formation of adequate self-governance, forming in them an adequate self-esteem, a more complete picture of the future sphere of professional activity and a free and informed choice. Therefore, the authors of the article emphasize the profile of studying geography as an organization of differentiated learning, which provides an in-depth and professional-oriented study of the cycle of related geographical objects.
