Abstract

The article presents an overview of the periodicals of 1917-1945 from the fund of V. O. Sukhomlinsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine, which are an important source of historical research in the field of pedagogy, education, library science. The article reveals the type and thematic orientation of the periodicals, which reflects the tendencies of development of education, science, culture of Ukraine in difficult historical periods, analyzes magazines that are not well-known to the general public of scientists, in particular, "New Way" (Krasnodar), devoted to Ukrainization of the Kuban.
