Abstract

The author has found out that social competence is determined in different ways: as awareness, which gives the person ability to act successfully, ability to behave in accordance with the system of social rules and established patterns of behavior; as a manifestation of a complex of special abilities of the individual competently apply the system of cognitive rules, dispose of them in accordance with the requirements of a particular society and the situation, his readiness to improve the level of personal achievements that enable to solve social problems, to harmonize relations with other people.
