Abstract

The thesis describes the methodology for using digital measuring complexes and applications for smartphones at the 7th grade physics classes. Various arithmetic calculations that students have to do when they solve their practical tasks or when they are working out the results of an experiment require the use of a calculator. It is necessary to teach students to use an engineering (scientific) calculator as a separate device, and as an application for smartphones. Interfaces of calculators from different manufacturers can differ considerably, but they all allow to carry out operations with the numbers given in the standard form.
