Abstract
Based on the essence analyses and features of pedagogical culture of the institution leader defined the main directions and methods of its development and self-development. This process is focused on leader formation. The institution leader as person of culture is a free, a spiritual, a creative and an adaptive personality with an inherent in humaneness, the capacity for life creativity and intelligence. Such a leader is able to create a unique cultural-sphere in the institution which he headed by. That is one of the factors ensuring the prestige and competitiveness in the educational market.
