Abstract

New standards provide greater autonomy of educational organizations and the possibility of individualization of students. Competency approach acts as a dialectical alternative to the traditional approach, oriented to the valuation of content units. The introduction of a mechanism to update the content of vocational education, should meet the needs of the labor market, to form young people with real experience of labor and industrial relations and to present themselves in the market of professional services.
