Abstract
The dissertation research is devoted to the study of the psychological characteristics of the value orientations of girls and adolescent boys. In this paper, the theoretical approach to the concept of value orientations as a holistic, multidimensional psychological education of a person is concretized and developed. On this basis, a model of a holistic, multidimensional analysis has been developed and tested, which allows to investigate the holistic psychological structure of the value orientations of girls and adolescent boys. The hierarchical structure of value orientations, its gender and age differences have been identified and characterized. It is shown that these differences are manifested in motivational-semantic, procedural-effective and communicative-orienting aspects. An integral comparative characteristic of the value orientations of girls and adolescent boys was carried out, on the basis of which the ways of correction of the value orientations of adolescents of different sexes were determined.
