Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of formation of motivation of educational activity of pupils, the object of which are the needs, ideals, interests, beliefs, attitudes, values, personality. The author analyzed the foundations of the theory of motivation, research psychologists psycholinguists, didactics, teaching methods are important for the syntax and punctuation; outlined the contours of the main types of motivation; It focused attention on the need to form them; proposed guidelines to improve the motivation of the students in the study of syntax in the 8th grade of secondary school.
