Abstract

The article presents one of the ways of forming the interdisciplinary competence of primary school students on the example of the integration of physical and biological knowledge. The author presents the results of the comparative analysis of horizontal interdisciplinary connections between the courses in physics and biology for grade 8, which showed that the physical knowledge necessary for biology is absent. The article also focuses on the methodical possibilities of disclosing interdisciplinary connections between biology and physics, which include the textbook as a means of mapping interdisciplinary connections, tasks on an interdisciplinary basis, interdisciplinary weeks, interdisciplinary student projects, etc.
